MIDNIGHT SUN, A JOURNEY TO THE HEART OF THE 70s
Founder and Artistic Director, Valérie Messika, unveils her new High Jewelry collection Midnight Sun. 140 creations with a decidedly unorthodox spirit. Yellow diamonds, snow settings, magnetic, pearls, contrasting colours... A statement of creativity inspired by the extravagance and freedom of seventies landmarks such as Studio 54, Le Palace and Chez Régine. Unique and exceptional pieces that showcase the expertise of Messika’s Parisian workshops. Once again, Messika caused a stir with the exceptional Solar Diva set, with its radiant and intense fancy yellow diamond weighing almost 35 carats. It’s one of the largest stones to have been set since the very beginning of Messika high jewelry.
A DAZZLING SHOW
Echoing the magnetic sets in the Midnight Sun collection, the clothes were designed by Nix Lecourt Mansion. Some exclusive looks, set with diamonds, were co-designed by Valérie Messika. Stylist Héléna Tejedor has joined forces with the Artistic Director to create new, assertive looks: 30 daring and hypnotic looks dreamed up as a team to complement the high jewelry. OPUS 1, THE DIAMOND IN THE SPOTLIGHT
With this first chapter of the Midnight Sun high jewelry collection at Paris Fashion Week, Valérie Messika breaks down the boundaries of her creativity to offer a captivating display of jewelry-making expertise. Nine new jewelry sets have been added to the five already unveiled during Les Journées de la Haute Joaillerie last June. The outfits are modern and original, the diamonds exceptional, and the party outrageous. Messika celebrates 10 years of high jewelry creations with sparkle, colour and style.
