For the Year of the Horse, French High Jewelry Maison Messika celebrates the spirit of 2026 through a creative dialogue with Chinese paper art, reinterpreted with contemporary energy. The narrative unfolds from an artistic window display co-created with artist Wen Qiuwen to a series of evocative campaign visuals featuring APAC Brand Ambassador Simon Gong, captured by renowned photographer Leslie Zhang.
Shaped through an interplay of light, shadow and sculptural form, the collaboration brings together the Chinese traditional medium of paper and Messika’s forward-thinking design language, revealing a refined cross-cultural vision of contemporary aesthetics.
Recognized as one of China’s leading new-generation photographers, Leslie Zhang brings a poetic and modern perspective to the campaign. Through a powerful interplay of Messika purple and festive red, his imagery balances avant-garde expression with refined sophistication. With clean lines, layered sets and soft shifts of light and shadow, the visual language brings bold energy to Messika’s Year of the Horse campaign.
Relaxed and expressive, Messika’s APAC Brand Ambassador Simon Gong effortlessly reflects the Maison’s modern spirit. In the campaign, So Move collection takes center stage, its amplified proportions worn as a confident expression of individuality. Move Link , with its interlocking chain design, blurs traditional gender codes and evokes a sense of liberated elegance. Messika’s signature Move pieces keep the diamonds in motion, while a red cord bracelet offers a subtle nod to seasonal traditions and Eastern symbolism.
