
Messika punctuates the 2026 summer season with a new digital campaign featuring Jules Koundé. Shot in Barcelona by photographer duo Louise and Maria Thornfeldt, the visual story places the French international footballer alongside model Sydney Stabreit in a sun-drenched contemporary villa perched above the city.
Jules dictates the tempo in his adopted city. A fashion disruptor on and off the pitch, the Barcelona defender injects his innate, rule-breaking elegance directly into the imagery.
Color commands every shot. The palette moves from electric turquoise to the hot shock of crimson and yellow, with Messika purple applied like a seal.
"I am an 80s girl. I remember those models with their big chains, that graphic energy, that total confidence. The colors too, so intensely pop, life lived in full technicolor. For this campaign we channeled all of that. The images are contrasted, assertive, a little more sensual."
